This policy explains what Owreeka does with your data. Owreeka is operated by Owreeka. It applies to the public tools site and to any account you create on it.
Every tool on this site does its work inside your browser, using your own computer. When you convert an image, merge a PDF, format some JSON or read an EXIF tag, that file is opened locally by JavaScript running on the page. It is not uploaded to us, not transmitted to a third party, and not stored anywhere on our servers — because it never reaches them.
A practical consequence: we cannot recover a file for you, we cannot see what you processed, and closing the tab discards everything. That is the intended trade-off.
Anonymous tool usage. When you open a tool page, the browser sends us the identifier of that tool and nothing else, so we can see which tools are worth maintaining. There is no account link, no file information and no content of any kind in that signal.
Account data, only if you create an account. Signing up stores the email address, username and any profile details you choose to enter (name, phone, address, birthday, gender, avatar). Accounts are not required to use any of the tools.
Standard server logs. Like every web server, ours records requests — IP address, time, the URL requested, user agent — for security and troubleshooting. These are retained for a limited period and are not used to profile you.
Essential cookies. If you sign in, we set a session token and a refresh token so you stay signed in. These are set only for signed-in users, and clearing them signs you out.
Preferences. Your theme (light/dark/system) and language choice are kept in your browser's local storage. They never reach our servers.
Advertising cookies. These are set by Google, not by us — see the next section.
This site is funded by advertising and uses Google AdSense to serve it.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or to other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings at google.com/settings/ads. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
For more detail on how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are shown a consent message before personalised advertising cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time through that message. Declining does not restrict your access to any tool on this site.
If you hold an account, you can view and correct your details on your profile page at any time, and you can ask us to delete the account and the data attached to it. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to a copy of your data, to object to certain processing, or to complain to your local data protection authority.
For the tools themselves there is nothing to request: we never received the files, so we have nothing to return or erase.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision; material changes will be noted on this page rather than applied silently.
